Our History and Mission
Mary-Ann's School of Dance was founded by Mary-Ann Cataldo 50 years ago in Downtown New Port Richey. Miss Mary-Ann built Mary-Ann's School of Dance to what it is today - A warm and happy environment - with the help from her oldest daughter, Mary-Ann Aguis or "Lil" Miss Mary-Ann.
Miss Mary-Ann passed November 17, 2017. She was a caring and loving wife, mom, grammy, grammy "the great" and dance teacher. But she taught the students of Mary-Ann's School of Dance more than just dance lessons -she taught them life lessons and cared for them as if they were her own. She made the studio a home away from home for all.
Today, her granddaughter and the youngest daughter of Lil Miss Mary-Ann, Christina, aims to do the same for all current and future students.

Register for 2025-2026 Dance Season
We offer a variety of styles for students age 3 to adult. We place our students based on age and skill level so everyone is in a class that is based on their needs and provides them with a comfortable learning environment.
MSD students not only learn dance skills but also life skills. We offer students the opportunity to perform around the community, further their education at dance conventions, compete, audition and other ways to progress in dance whether for fun or if wanted to move towards a professional dance career.
We bring in professionals in the field to experience what it's like to be a professional dancer. Every student also has the privilege to perform in our end of the year recital!
We offer ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, contemporary, acrobatics and hip hop.
