Our dance school offers a wide range of classes for all ages and skill levels. Our experienced instructors are passionate about teaching and create a fun and supportive environment to help students reach their full potential.
Ballet - a classical dance form demanding grace and precision and employing formalized steps and gestures set in intricate, flowing patterns to create expression through movement. The foundation for all dance styles. Offered for age 3 and up.
Pointe - designed for students with previous ballet training. Students will utilize previously learned ballet technique while working in pointe shoes. Each class includes barre exercises, center floor work and across the floor combinations. These exercises focus on strengthening the feet and ankles. Offered for ages 10 and up. *Required to be in a ballet class
Tap - a dance in which the rhythm or rhythmical variation is audibly tapped out with the toe or heel by a dancer wearing shoes with special hard soles or with taps. Offered for age 4 and up.
Jazz - combines techniques of classical ballet and modern dance with the current forms of popular dance. Jazz also has its own movement vocabulary ranging from the isolation of certain body parts to the movement of the entire body with the accents of musical rhythms. Offered for age 5 and up.
Acrobatics - combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements. It is defined by its athletic character, its unique choreography, seamlessly blends dance and acrobatics, and its use of acrobatics in a dance context. Offered for age 5 and up.
Contemporary - is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet. Contemporary dancers strive to connect the mind and the body through fluid dance movements. *Required to be in a ballet class
Hip - Hop - refers to street dance styles primarily performed to mostly upbeat, hip-hop music or that have evolved as part of hip-hop culture. *Required to be in a ballet or jazz class for new students in hip hop
Dance Company - MSD Elite Dance Company requires an audition. MSD Elite practices and performs all styles offered at the dance studio. MSD Elite is known as our convention team, which travels to various conventions to learn from other dance professionals in master classes as well as perform at various community events. *Required to be a registered MSD student to audition. Those auditioning should be prepared to audition in all styles of dance. Offered to grades 6 and up.
Hours per week - Tuition per month
1 hour - $73.00
2 hours - $105.00 (over 25% discount)
3 hours - $137.00 (over 25% discount)
4 hours - $169.00 (over 25% discount)
5 hours - $201.00 (over 25% discount)
Unlimited - $255.00
All classes are an hour long. Students are placed in classes based on their age and skill-level, according to MSD and its teachers.
Schedules are made personal for each student by Mary-Ann’s School of Dance.
Dresscode
- Leotard and tights of any color
- No t-shirts to be worn during ballet
- T-shirts worn in other classes must be an MSD shirt and must be worn OVER leotard and tights.
Private lessons can be made with Miss Christina in ballet, tap, jazz, acrobatics and contemporary.
We offer space rentals for birthday parties, rehearsals, pop-up classes and more!

A space rental contract must be signed before renting and a deposit is required.
